Thank you Jean and APA Solutions for allowing me to advance in my career.  The career assessment tools have not only given me much needed encouragement, but have also allowed me to focus on, and identify my weaknesses to turn them into strengths.  I was just promoted at my company due in large part by acting upon the suggestions on the assessment tools.  The very same weaknesses that the assessment tools had identified, were the ones that were holding me back at my current profession and I was not aware of the true image that I portrayed to others.  By acting upon these weaknesses, I was able to turn them around to strengths.  I am now better able to present myself and can overcome any obstacle that I am faced with.

Hello Joan!  I know it has been a long time, but I wanted to thank you for your career workshop.  It really made me think hard and long about what I was trying to get out of leaving my current position with Delaware North Companies.  At the time I knew my particular position was becoming obsolete in the U.S., with no other similar positions in the company, but in the end they offered me the same position (the one I love) in Australia and New Zealand.  So now I'll be with DNC over 5 years in January 2010 (first time on my resume), I'm doing a job I love, for a good company and getting to travel to places I've only dreamt of visiting.  I don't think I would have held out so long if it wasn't for your sound advice.

I thought I would just send a Thank You!  Your advice was valuable to me and I appreciate it.
